More About Me and My Life Experience:
Hey! I'm John and I'm and Actor, Singer originally from Dallas, TX! I'm currently getting my training from Missouri State University under the direction of Josh Young and am on track to graduate with my BFA in Musical Theatre in May of 2025! I'm based out of Brea, California and Dallas interchangeably throughout the year, but hope to move to New York City within the next year or 2.

I've been acting in plays since I was 3 years old and my first performance was a play that my aunt wrote called "Clown's Play" that was a take on Jack and the Beanstalk to start out her youth theatre company that is now doing quite well in Dallas. Since then I have done over 400 performances of different shows in either short weekend runs in educational and profession theaters or traveling to different school programs for 3 performances everyday during my summers growing up.

Growing up, I always had big dreams. I never thought I would be an actor professionally until I was in high school. Before that, I played soccer for 15 years and basketball for 7 years. I always thought my career would have something to do with sports because I was pretty good until I got to high school and realized I won't be taller than 6 foot, so professional basketball player was then out of the question. I still love playing basketball at the gym and soccer (when I can find a field) and now I just use it as acting training, when I play by myself or in a pickup game, I drop into the given circumstances that I'm Michael Jordan and every game and every shot has the biggest stakes.

There's a lot of things I would like to accomplish in my career, such as performing on a cruise ship or Broadway national tour and of course performing on Broadway. I'd also love to explore more with the world of film. I just recently completed production on a short film that I wrote, directed, and starred in. It was such a fun experience and I will be submitting that short to different festivals this upcoming season.

Throughout my training, I've learned so much about the craft and feel that I have not only grown as an artist, but as a person. I am truly grateful to my professors and mentors and my fellow artists, I learn something new from every person every day and am truly inspired and grateful by all of the art that surrounds me.

I know you might not have time to read this entire about me section, but if you skim through and get to this paragraph, I want your biggest take away about me to be that my work ethic is unmatched, I love people, I believe there is good in everyone, I am passionate about what I do and what I give to the world, I love to make jokes and make you laugh, and that I am grateful for every opportunity, success and failure I have throughout my life. Each one gives me something I can look back and learn from and also be proud of. I'm also a Disney adult.
